·         Board staff will NOT contact you by telephone to tell you that:

o   you are the subject of a complaint or investigation,

o   your license has been suspended, or

o   demand money or urgent information from you.

 ·         Hang up and do not engage in any conversation with these impersonators.

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19):

The Board continues to be open for business and in an effort to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on our communities, we strongly encourage you to conduct all business with the Board through US mail, email or fax.  If you must visit our office in person, you will need to make an appointment as our building is closed to the public at this time.  COVID-19 Communication with the Board .

On April 27, 2020, Governor Walz issued Emergency Executive Order 20-46 authorizing out-of -state healthcare professionals to render aid in Minnesota during the COVID-19 peacetime emergency.   Board's Press Release regarding Emergency Executive Order 20-46.

On March 27, 2020, Governor Walz issued Emergency Executive Order 20-23 that defers both fingerprinting for criminal background checks and continued education reporting.  Board’s Press Release regarding Emergency Executive Order 20-23

If you haven't registered at our website to renew online before, You will receive a renewal notice letter with a security code and online renewal instructions from the Board around 2 months prior to your current license expiration date.
