Announcing the Board’s New Executive Director

The Minnesota Board of Medical Practice is pleased to announce that it has selected Elizabeth A. Huntley, JD, CMBE, as its next Executive Director.  Ms. Huntley has significant experience in health care regulation, having served the Board for 19 years, including in her current role as Deputy Director.  She also has extensive experience representing the Board locally and nationally on work groups and coalitions.  Ms. Huntley will assume the role of Executive Director on February 6, 2023, following the retirement of Ruth Martinez.

On April 27, 2020, Governor Walz issued Emergency Executive Order 20-46 authorizing out-of -state healthcare professionals to render aid in Minnesota during the COVID-19 peacetime emergency.   Board's Press Release regarding Emergency Executive Order 20-46.

If you haven't registered at our website to renew online before, You will receive a renewal notice letter with a security code and online renewal instructions from the Board around 2 months prior to your current license expiration date.
