New Content to "Treat People Like People" Campaign

Announcing the addition of a Culturally Specific section to the resources of "Treat People Like People - Abuse Stops With Us" awareness of abuse and neglect campaign. The new section also includes links to resources in languages other than English.
The website is a resource created with adults with disabilities, their families and guardians, and professionals in care provision and policy with the overarching goal of demonstrating the value of each person and empowering change.
Also announcing that the Office of Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities’ (OMHDD) received an award for the campaign from the Health Information Resource Center. The Center annually recognizes the world’s best digital health resources.
