Congratulations to Roger Schwab, the outgoing Regional Ombudsman Supervisor, on his retirement. Roger has been a member of the Office of Ombudsman since its inception in 1987 and has supervised the Regional Ombudsman since 2010. He has provided leadership as the Coordinator for the Civil Commitment Training and Resource Center both as a policy expert and providing technical assistance and training statewide. OMHDD wishes Roger all the best in his retirement and thanks him for his years of dedicated service to the agency, our clients, and our staff.
We are also excited to announce that Andrea Strobel-Ayres will be the new Regional Ombudsman Supervisor. Andrea has been with OMHDD for over 12 years as a Regional Ombudsman serving Hennepin County. She brings to her new position a strong commitment to OMHDD clients as well as decades of experience providing advocacy services at both the individual and systemic level. We are looking forward to working with Andrea in her new capacity following this time of transition within the agency.
