Enforcement & Compliance Monitoring
The Minnesota Office of EMS (OEMS) enforces regulations to ensure that EMS providers and agencies maintain professional and ethical standards. If a provider or agency is found to be out of compliance, OEMS may take one or more enforcement actions, depending on the severity of the violation. All public enforcement actions are reported to the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), and other licensing authorities.
