Steve Larson: How Can the Public Get Involved?

Steve Larson: Well, they can contact The Arc Minnesota either by our website, www.arcmn.org, or give us a call and we can talk about that. We have several hundred people on our action alert list, so that they are kept up to date on issues that we're dealing with in the state and some of our activities to help improve our overall service system. They should contact myself or they should contact their county. There's one number in the county to call for emergencies in every county, or they can contact the Ombudsman's Office for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, and all of those organizations would get them connected with individuals that could follow up on those types of concerns.
