To find current job opportunities with the Department of Corrections, visit mn.gov/careers, and choose "External Applicants" if you are not currently a state employee.

MCF-Stillwater and MCF-Oak Park Heights have several Trainee-Corrections Officer openings.  Please consider attending a Trainee-Corrections Officer hiring event at MCF-Stillwater on March 3, 2020 and at MCF-Oak Park Heights on March 10, 2020.  Prior registration is required to attend the event by applying to this posting by noon on the Friday prior to the event date.  If you plan to attend, please allow 2 ½ to 3 hours to complete the REACT test and be interviewed (read below for more information).  If you do not apply in advance and show up to a hiring event, you may be provided with information on how to apply and/or be scheduled to take the REACT test on a different date at a different DOC location. After you apply, you will receive instructions via your email address on how to either schedule yourself to attend the hiring event or schedule yourself to take the REACT test at DOC Central Office in St. Paul.  If you take and pass the REACT test at DOC Central Office, you will be invited back to interview on a separate date.
