Renew Your License
If you have renewed online before, the Board will post your next year’s online renewal record to your online account 2 months prior to the current expiration date, and send you an email notice to remind you to complete the annual renewal before your license expiration. For example, if your license is due June 30th, you should be able to renew online starting May 1st, and receive an email in early May. Failure to receive the renewal notice correspondence does not relieve a license holder of the obligation to comply the renewal, per MN Statutes 147.02 Subd. 7.
- You may call the board office and request a paper form. Allow time for the form to be mailed to you and time for the completed renewal to be returned to the board prior to your license expiration date.
- You may also visit the board office and renew. Please note that we are only able to accept checks and cash in person. We are not able to accept credit card payments at the board office.
- Renew Your License
The online renewal will be available on the first day of the 2nd month prior to the expiration date of your license. For example, if your license is due June 30th, you should be able to renew online starting May 1st.
