Paula Goldberg's PACER legacy to live on

Paula Goldberg, co-founder of PACER Center and a dedicated advocate for children with disabilities, passed away at 79. Remembered for her passion, Goldberg played a crucial role in PACER's growth and its anti-bullying efforts. Tributes highlighted her personal outreach and positive impact on families and children with disabilities.
Beginning in 1977, Goldberg helped establish the national system of Parent Training and Information Centers. Despite initial modest expectations, PACER evolved into a major organization offering various programs, including the COUNT ME In puppet program and the Simon Technology Center assistive technology program.
Goldberg was instrumental in founding National Bullying Prevention Month in 2006, addressing the disproportionate bullying faced by children with disabilities. Her legacy includes a strong cohort of advocates committed to continuing her work.
