2003: Governor Timothy J. Pawlenty is Elected

Timothy "Tim" James Pawlenty is a Republican politician who was the 39th Governor of Minnesota. He began his term on January 6, 2003. He was elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 1994, and in 1999 became the Majority Leader.
