Staying Out

Reentry Services staff work throughout Minnesota with state/county agencies, local providers & impacted people to help build better system responses and resources to dramatically increase successful reentry for people leaving correctional facilities and those living under community supervision.  Some of these system responses include employment, housing, mental health, substance use disorder treatments...and so much more.  This work is accomplished in various ways through direct services, community referrals, funding and national & local collaborative partnerships.
Video-Join The Movement
In 2022, the U.S. Department of Justice through the Bureau of Justice Assistance, in partnership with The Council of State Governments Justice Center, launched the #Reentry2030 Movement. The MN DOC Reentry Services aligns our staying home activities with initiatives, like this, to use best practices in providing successful reintegration for every person.
