New MN PMP AWARxE Accounts

Who is eligible for a Minnesota PMP Account?

Minnesota Statutes Sect. 152.126 allows direct access to the Prescription Monitoring Program Database to MN licensed prescribers, pharmacists, medical examiners and coroners, and Medicaid Restricted Recipient Program managers. Delegates working with these individuals may also access the PMP database through applying for an appropriate delegate account. To request an account to access the database click the button above (or below) titled "Create a NEW MN PMP Account." Select your appropriate role type and follow the instructions. Some role types will be immediately authorized based on entering valid credentials and some role type applications are required to be manually reviewed by our program. If your application is denied, watch for an email with instructions. The resources below are available to assist new applicants and account holders.

Delegate Management

For assistance connecting, authorizing, or removing delegate access to your account, please review the Delegate Management Tip Sheet. Supervising account holders that have authorized delegates to search on their behalf are required to audit those searches on at least a quarterly basis. NarxCare

NarxCare is a patient support tool that the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy provides to authorized prescribers and pharmacists. This is a feature that offers a representation of PMP data in an interactive format along with alerts and risk scores to aid in clinical decision making and assist with improved patient safety. Interstate Searching

Currently Minnesota has agreements to allow authorized account holders in 45 states and jurisdictions to access prescriptions dispensed for their patients in Minnesota. The map below shows our current connections.
- Navy Blue - Account holders in Minnesota have the same access to these states as in the MN PMP
- Green - Access is restricted to certain account holders. Some MN PMP account holders will not have full access to this state's information.
- White - No connection for Minnesota PMP account holders.
