Members of the public are invited to participate in public meetings about Minnesota Power’s (MP) proposed Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). Minnesota Power submitted its 2021 IRP to the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (PUC) on February 1, 2021. The IRP explains MP’s “ EnergyForward” resource strategy. This strategy explains how MP plans to produce electricity for its customers over the next 15 years.
To gather public input on MP’s IRP, and answer any questions about the IRP, the PUC and an Administrative Law Judge will hold virtual public meetings. You are invited to attend a meeting to learn more about the IRP and make comments on the plan that will be included in the official record. The official record is reviewed by Commissioners when they make final decisions on the IRP.
During the public meetings, you do not need to be represented by an attorney. To watch the video stream with audio, you must join by internet and phone. If a computer is unavailable, you can still access meeting audio by phone.
