The Ombudsman for Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities (OMHDD) can investigate claims related to client services, medical review, and civil commitment. Find more information on the OMHDD website.
The Office of Ombudsperson for Families provides a fair and neutral environment between state and county agencies and families of color in Minnesota. They work to improve outcomes for all children of color. Find more information at mn.gov/OmbudFam.
The Ombudsperson serves American Indian Communities. The Ombudsperson works to resolve complaints from families who have been negatively impacted by child welfare social service agencies, to include out-of-home placement of American Indian children, as well as public education and housing issues as they relate to child protection cases. The Ombuds for Corrections investigates complaints about any Department of Corrections (DOC) facility charged with the care and custody of inmates and any regional or local correctional facility licensed by the DOC in Minnesota. Find more information at the Ombuds for Corrections website.

The Minnesota Managed Health Care Ombudsperson Office works with people who have Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare and who are enrolled in a managed health care plan.
