In June 2024, the Olmstead Implementation Office (OIO) hosted the Disability Inclusion and Choice Survey. The survey was open for a month. It was intended for people with disabilities and open to all Minnesotans. The survey asked questions about how the next Olmstead Plan can improve integration, choice, and inclusion for Minnesotans with disabilities.
The survey was promoted on OIO's social media, newsletter, and website. It was also shared widely by state and community partners through social media and newsletters. 957 people responded to the survey.
The survey results will be used to create the next Olmstead Plan.
The survey report shares information about topic areas and themes from the survey. It also includes information about the demographics of those who took the survey.
If you did not take the original survey, you can email feedback to OIO at MNOlmsteadPlan@state.mn.us. Your feedback will be used to create the next Olmstead Plan.
