Public Comment Documents
A draft of Minnesota’s next Olmstead Plan was reviewed by the Subcabinet in March 2026. State agencies and Inclusion Consultants worked together to write the plan and its goals. The draft is now available for public review.
The draft plan is also available in Spanish, Hmong, and Somali.
After the draft plan was released, there was a public comment period. This was a time to gather feedback about the draft plan from Minnesotans with disabilities, their supporters, and professionals. During spring 2026, there was a written survey and virtual meetings. Minnesotans could also submit feedback through email. This feedback has been shared with agency staff and Inclusion Consultants working on the plan. They are updating plan goals based on the feedback. The Olmstead Plan will be finalized in Fall 2026.
