November 27, 2024 - The Administrative Law Judge concludes that the Department properly denied Teshome Berisso, d/b/a M and T Adult Foster Care’s application for a home and community-based services license based upon Berisso’s failure to submit a timely and complete license application. The Judge further concludes that the Department properly revoked Berisso’s adult foster care license for providing false and misleading information to the County. Consequently, the Administrative Law Judge recommends that the Commissioner of Human Services AFFIRM the Order of License Denial issued against Teshome Berisso, d/b/a M and T Adult Foster Care, and AFFIRM the Order of License Revocation issued against Teshome Berisso.
