2011: Lois Curtis Visits the White House
Lois Curtis, one of the original plaintiffs in the Olmstead case, meets with the President and gives him a special gift. The landmark Supreme Court decision paved the way for Ms. Curtis and others with disabilities to live in the community rather than institutions.
