2005: Disability Linkage Line is Launched
In 2005, through funding from a CMS Real Choice Systems Change Grant, DHS launched the Disability Linkage LineĀ®(DLL).
Minnesota's Disability Linkage Line helps identify resources and benefit options, support decision-making, and find solutions. A network of highly-trained policy experts is available through this one, simple access point to help people with disabilities know their options, overcome barriers, and find real solutions.
DLL can help with disability benefits and programs, disability awareness and rights, and building accessibility and home modifications.
DLL is a state-wide infrastructure connecting people with disabilities to help and information about:
- county services
- healthcare
- community supports
- housing
- public benefits
- service providers.
The Disability Linkage Line is a one-stop resource for people with disabilities, their families, providers, and representatives.
