2003: Minnesota Travel Guide for Persons with Disabilities is Released

This month marks a milestone for people with disabilities who are interested in enjoying the exciting travel and entertainment opportunities available throughout Minnesota. Access for All, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has published the very first large-print Minnesota Travel Guide for Persons with Disabilities. This guide supplies in-depth information regarding the accessibility of over 300 travel and hospitality establishments throughout the state.

Modeled after Virginia's acclaimed guide, Access for All, headed by Mike Chevrette, has developed both a print and on-line version of this excellent resource for Minnesota. It is being continually updated with new listings involving lodging, restaurants, attractions, historic sites, nightclubs and bars, dialysis centers, arts and theater, resorts, convention centers, transportation, parks and campgrounds.
