Most services take place within the school setting but home-based and outpatient services are also available. Direct and culturally affirmative mental health services are also offered to teens and adults in the Twin Cities through Regions Hospital's deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing services. Teens and adults can meet with the clinician, either in-person or virtually, to work on individual treatment goals or family therapy goals. Statewide services provided by a licensed psychiatrist trained to provide culturally and linguistically affirmative services to children and adults who are deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing.
