No, DHS does not sell adaptive devices. You may purchase devices from a number of vendors. We have compiled lists of various types of devices, and vendors that supply them, by need below.

Yes, if you meet these two criteria:

1. You are eligible based on the income guidelines, and
2. You have privately paid phone service that is separate from your overall services.

No. If your device needs repairs, contact us at 888-345-1725 (voice or your preferred relay service).

Call 888-345-1725 (voice or your preferred relay service) to arrange to have your device picked up.

You may keep the device as long as you need it and live in Minnesota. Devices are on long-term loan from DHS.
You must return devices if:

• You move out of Minnesota.
• You no longer need the device.
• Your phone service is disconnected.

Yes, if your communication needs change or if your device stops working you may exchange it.

Staff are not installing devices in homes at this time. Many devices are easy to install and you, or a family member or friend, can install it yourself. All devices come with instructions for set up and use.
