Learn about education options

It is important for parents to understand that there are options available, so that they can make an informed decision that fits their child's needs.

Family mentors

The Deaf Mentor Family program connects families with a mentor in their community. Mentors help families learn visual communication strategies, American Sign Language and Deaf culture.

Where to learn ASL

Today there are a wide range of online courses and apps, as well as face-to-face classes available to help you get started learning American Sign Language.
