The Minnesota Department of Human Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division is here to help connect families with information and referrals to a wide range of resources, through this website and through our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialists.

For adults with hearing loss

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division is here to help you connect to resources, programs and technologies for adults experiencing hearing loss. If you want additional support, we can refer you to counseling services, support groups and social organizations. 

Combined hearing and vision loss

More than 1.5 million people in the United States live with both significant hearing and vision loss. Because no two people have exactly the same degree of vision and hearing loss, each person's experience is unique.
