St. Paul, Minnesota — The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) will hold an agenda meeting on January 31, February 3, and February 4 to consider the proposed Line 3 Replacement Project. 

 

Given the public interest in this process, the entire day on January 31, 2020 will be reserved to allow members of the public to present comments directly to the Commission. In order to accommodate as many commenters as possible, commenters may be asked to limit their speaking time to 2 or 3 minutes. 

 

Beginning on February 3, 2020, the Commission will take oral argument from official parties, ask questions, and deliberate. The hearing may continue to February 4 as necessary. 

 

In order to accommodate the interest in the proceeding, the hearings will be held at the Minnesota Senate Office Building located at University Avenue and Park Avenue in St. Paul. A limited number of seats will be reserved for official parties, media, and elected officials, while the rest of the seats are available to the public. The doors to the building will open at 7:45 a.m. and the hearings will begin at 8:30 a.m. 

 

The meeting will also be available to watch on a live webcast, which can be accessed by navigating to www.senate.mn, selecting the Multimedia drop-down, and selecting live video. Members of the media will be allowed to set up from the sides of the room where there are ports and outlets for your electronic equipment. It is recommended that media arrive early in order to set up any equipment.
