Public Utilities Commission to Hold Public Meetings in Rochester

St. Paul, Minnesota — The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (Commission) will hold public meetings in Rochester, Minnesota on Thursday, September 27, 2018, starting at 10:00am. The meetings will take place at Olmsted County Government Center, 151 4th Street SE, Rochester in the County Board Room.

The Commission will hold its usual weekly public meeting at which it will consider several regulatory filings by utilities. The specific items to be considered and the staff Briefing Papers providing background information can be found on the Commission’s website at the calendar entry for that day. There will be a brief question and answer period at the close of the meeting in order for those in attendance to ask questions about the role of the Commission in the State of Minnesota.

After a break for lunch, the Commission will hold a public meeting at 2:00pm to discuss energy policy and energy infrastructure goals for the city of Rochester with local officials.

All of these events are open to the public. In the case of lunch, the Commission asks that any members of the public wishing to attend to bring their own lunch, if so desired.
