Filing Instructions

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE FILLING OUT A CHARGE FORM

 

A charge claiming that any party has engaged in or is engaging in an unfair labor practice may be filed by an employee, employer, employee or employer organization, exclusive representative, or any other person or organization aggrieved by an unfair labor practice as defined in Minn. Stat. 179.11179.12, or 179A.13.

Any charge sent to the Board must be filed in writing. After completing the charge form, be sure to sign and date the charge. The charge may be filed by mail, in person at the Board’s office (1021 Bandana Blvd E, Suite 225, Saint Paul, MN 55108), or electronically (perb@state.mn.us). The form may also be submitted via Sharefile.

Upon receipt of a charge filed with the Board, the Board will review the charge for timeliness and completeness as to form and substance. If necessary, the party filing the charge may be asked to delete information from the charge that is confidential or privileged from disclosure.
