David Aron

David Aron is General Counsel at Education Minnesota, a state labor organization representing over 80,000 teachers, support staff, and higher education faculty throughout the state. David oversees Education Minnesota's legal representation of members and local affiliates and advises the organization's executive staff and elected leaders. He has served in this role since 2018 and was previously an attorney in the legal department for seven years. 

David earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, a master’s degree in Secondary Special Education from the City University of New York-Brooklyn College, and a bachelor’s degree in history and government from Bowdoin College. Prior to law school, David taught Special Education to high school students in Brooklyn, New York. He lives in Minneapolis with his husband and two daughters.
