The PELSB Data Center provides a wealth of data about licensed educators, teacher preparation programs, teacher shortage areas, and trends in the teaching profession overtime. The data center also includes narrative reports and data spreadsheets available for download.
Navigating Interactive Reports
The data center provides access to interactive PowerBI reports. These dynamic reports allow users to click within data visualizations or by utilizing slicers to easily adjust the focus of the data on the page. Many of PELSB’s data reports include slicers to filter for items like licensure area, demographics, location, and more.
To navigate within a PowerBI report, PELSB’s data team recommends using full-screen mode (select the arrows in the bottom right corner of the report). Additionally, within PowerBI reports, the bottom bar includes page numbers with backwards and forward arrows. You can click on the these arrows to navigate to the previous or next page; you can also click on the numbers for a pop-up menu of all of the pages within the report for fast navigation.
