PELSB Offering Free Ethics Training for Administrators and HR Professionals

Training will be Held November 15 at 2 p.m.

PELSB will be hosting a free training seminar about teachers ethics, disciplinary processes, and schools' responsibilities under Minnesota law.

The training will be held November 15 at 2 p.m. online through WebEx.

During the one-hour seminar, PELSB Ethics Specialist Maria Zaloker will provide guidance about the Board's ethics investigation and teacher discipline processes. She will also be available to answer questions about how PELSB handles disciplinary cases.

The training is specifically designed for school administrators and human resources professionals, and topics will include:

  • PELSB's ethics investigation processes;
  • School districts' and charter schools' legal obligations to report teacher ethics violations; and
  • School districts' and charter schools' role in PELSB ethics investigations.

Participants do not need to register in advance of the seminar.
