<description>March 12, 2026 - Anyone providing speech language services to a child on an IEP must either be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or a licensed Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). The SLPA must be licensed through the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to provide services in a school setting.</description>
