January 19, 2024 - The Judge determines that the Committee has not established by a preponderance of the evidence that Licensee engaged in personal conduct that brings discredit to the profession of dentistry or that Licensee repeatedly performed dental treatment falling below accepted standards. However, the Committee has shown by a preponderance of the evidence that Licensee demonstrated gross ignorance or incompetence in the practice of dentistry related to Licensee’s treatment of two patients, Patient 1 from 2021 to 2023 and Patient 2 in 2023. Therefore, the Committee has proven that Licensee engaged in conduct unbecoming a person licensed to practice dentistry or conduct contrary to the best interest of the public, as defined by the rules of the Board. Accordingly, the Board may impose discipline on Licensee’s license.
