80-1800-36660 In the Matter of the Appeal by Ann Weires of the Order of Denial of License and by S.M.G. of his Disqualification

December 22, 2020 - The Department failed to demonstrate by a preponderance of the evidence that S.M.G. committed a disqualifying act. Further, Appellant met her burden to show that her application for a family childcare license should be approved and a license granted. Therefore, the Administrative Law Judge recommends that the Commissioner of the Department of Human Services (Commissioner) RESCIND S.M.G.’s disqualification, and APPROVE Appellant’s application for a family childcare license.
