We, the Minnesota Board of Psychology, issue the following statement: We recognize that all people including psychologists, applicants, students preparing to submit applications to the board, and others doing business with or being governed by board statutes and rules, may be affected in unanticipated ways during this unprecedented time as a consequence of the COVID19 pandemic. Being a group composed of compassionate and civically-minded individuals, we intend to reflect principles of fairness and equanimity in all matters before the board. We understand that these are challenging times for many people, and it is our intention to adhere to the board’s mission while simultaneously acting in ways that reflect a common sense appreciation for the circumstances with which we are all coping.
