Dr. Gonzalez is an assistant professor of psychology and family medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He serves as the clinical director of the Transgender and Intersex Specialty Care Clinic, an associate program director of the Family Medicine Residency Program, and director of the clinical health psychology fellowship at Mayo Clinic. His professional identity is as a multicultural community-clinical health psychologist whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of socially disadvantaged people through clinical practice, education, research, and mentorship. Dr. Gonzalez is appointed to serve a four-year term on the Minnesota Board of Psychology that expires on January 6, 2026.
