Renewal After Expiration
License status may be verified through the License Lookup tool. The Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice
license lookup tool is considered primary source. It is updated in real-time as changes occur within the system.
License Renewal After Expiration:
- One year or Less After Expiration Date:
- Renew online by logging into your online account.
- The Board will provide instruction for submitting Continuing Education documentation, and Employment Verification.
- Other information may be requested by the Board.
- More than one year After Expiration Date but Less than One Renewal Period:
Contact the Board to request the late renewal application, directions, and forms. All Late Renewals must include:
- Renewal Application
- Fees
- Continuing Education Audit
- License Verification for other states/jurisdictions
- NBCOT Verification of Certification
- Other information as requested
- Expired more than one renewal period?
- Submit a new license application through the online portal.
