To file a complaint anonymously, call the office at 651-946-2940, press 2, and request to make an anonymous complaint.
There may be times when someone does not want to provide their name. You are welcome to submit an anonymous complaint. However, it may be difficult for us to help if the complaint is made anonymously.
The information may be shared with the agency complained against to investigate, make recommendations, and publish reports, or to prevent imminent risk of harm to any person. See more about the Office's Data Practices.
Retaliation for making a complaint is illegal (Sec. 260C.82 MN Statutes Subd 4), but we recognize that it can still happen. If you feel you or someone else has been retaliated against, please let us know right away.
