MLK Council Project Manager, Office of Equity, Opportunity, and Accessibility

Brittany McClendon is a strategic leader and organizational changemaker with more than a decade of experience in employee engagement, leadership development, and culture transformation across Minnesota state government. She currently serves as a Strategic Project Manager with the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) where she leads high-impact initiatives focused on agency-wide engagement, strategic planning, and executive leadership support.

Brittany serves as the project manager for The Governor’s Council on the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, where she plays a pivotal role in steering one of Minnesota’s most visible civil rights celebrations toward innovation, community impact, and statewide alignment.
