Deaf Rights Minnesota has gathered together hundreds of links to pages on State websites related to disabilities and aging. Use the top navigation bar to select a retrieval tool:

  • Deaf Rights Topics provides browseable topic categories for drilling down to the desired topic area.
  • A-Z Index is an alphabetical listing of all topics.
  • State Agencies displays all pages on the website from a specific agency, board, council, or division.

White Cane Safety Day- Governor's Statement On October 15 the governor can make a public statement concerning white cane safety day. S/he can issue a statement: about the significance of the white cane; encourage citizens to observe the White Cane Law by considering precautions to keep people who have a disability safe; remind the citizens of the current state of policies relating to people who have disabilities and urge citizens to cooperate in putting them into effective; and/or encouraging citizens to be aware of the presence of people with disabilities in the community and to keep public spaces safe for them.
