Starting today applicants will be able to take the Professional Responsibility Examination (PRE) at testing centers nationwide through Comira Testing Services.
The new delivery format offers applicants many advantages including:

Applicants no longer have to travel to Board offices to take the exam: Through Comira the exam is available at all Comira testing centers in the U.S. That means applicants in Greater Minnesota or from another state dont have to wait to travel to Minneapolis to take the exam.

The exam is no longer paper-based: The new computer-based exam makes it easier to respond to exam questions and, if necessary, change a response; all with the click of a button.

Greater scheduling flexibility: Applicants will be able to schedule their exam for a day and time that is most convenient to them. No longer there will be a set schedule when the PRE is administered.

Score results are available immediately: Applicants will receive their test results right away. This reduces test results delivery wait time from ~10 days to just a few minutes after completing the exam.
We are very excited to make the PRE available in this new format. We believe it is a great improvement in the service we provide to our stakeholders. This new delivery mode will offer great flexibility and faster licensure times to psychologists seeking licensure in Minnesota.
Over the past five years the Board has focused its efforts in process improvement and excellent customer service. The new PRE delivery method significantly advances these goals.
