License Lookup
"Find a Licensee" helps you confirm whether a person currently holds a Minnesota license or certificate. It also shows revoked, retired, or expired statuses—each of which means the person cannot currently practice in Minnesota.Lookup Information
- Licensees/certificate holders may use this tool to find their license number and expiration date.
- Firm registrations are not listed. For firm information, contact the Board at aelslagid@state.mn.us.
- The database is refreshed daily and is not real-time. If someone is newly licensed or has a recent status change, wait 1–2 business days after the expected change before checking results.
- The Board no longer mails license cards at renewal. Anyone needing confirmation of status can be directed to this Licensee Lookup page.
- Licensees who want a printable/downloadable PDF license card can log into Online Renewal Services and select “License/Certificate Card.”
- If the search does not display, try a browser other than Chrome.
