Judge Christenson graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1977 and William Mitchell College of Law in 1981. His practice concentrated on representing parties involved in workers’ compensation and personal injury claims. He was a shareholder with Quinlivan & Hughes, PA for 23 years in the firm’s St. Cloud office before his appointment to the court.
