Judge Sundquist graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1985 and William Mitchell College of Law in 1988. Before coming to the court, she represented employers and insurers in workers' compensation litigation for the law firms of Aafedt, Forde, Gray, Monson & Hager, P.A., and Meagher Geer. She practiced in the area of Workers' Compensation for 26 years before her appointment in 2015.
