How to use this website

Deaf Rights Minnesota has gathered together hundreds of links to pages on State websites related to disabilities and aging. Use the top navigation bar to select a retrieval tool:

  • Deaf Rights Topics provides browseable topic categories for drilling down to the desired topic area.
  • A-Z Index is an alphabetical listing of all topics.
  • State Agencies displays all pages on the website from a specific agency, board, council, or division.
  • Search allows full-text searching of the topics, titles, and link descriptions.
Hearing Aid Return Policy After a consumer receives her/his hearing aids, they have a 45-day money-back guarantee. If the hearing aid is out of the consumers possession for more than 24 hours because of repair or adjustment than additional time is added to the 45-day period. The consumer can give or mail a written notice of cancellation to the audiologist or dispenser. The consumer should receive a refund within 30 days of returning the hearing aids to the dispenser. The hearing aid dispenser or audiologist cannot retain a cancellation fee of more than $250 of the buyer's total purchase price of the hearing aids. If a person violates the terms of this section they are guilty of a misdemeanor and is subject to the penalties in the consumer protection Minnesota statute 325F.69 subd. 1.
