Housing and Lodging Accommodations Deaf, deafblind, and hard of hearing people have full and equal access to all housing accommodations offered for rent, lease, or compensation. Housing accommodations do not include single family residences where a person rents, leases, or furnishes for compensation just one room. The property owner does not need to change his/her property to improve conditions for a deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing person.
