How to use this website

Deaf Rights Minnesota has gathered together hundreds of links to pages on State websites related to disabilities and aging. Use the top navigation bar to select a retrieval tool:

  • Deaf Rights Topics provides browseable topic categories for drilling down to the desired topic area.
  • A-Z Index is an alphabetical listing of all topics.
  • State Agencies displays all pages on the website from a specific agency, board, council, or division.
  • Search allows full-text searching of the topics, titles, and link descriptions.
Additional Telephone Equipment Eligibility Some households are eligible to receive multiple devices from the program. This includes: households with a person who is deaf can receive a telecommunications device for the deaf (TDD)and a ring signaler; households with a person who is deafblind can receive a TDD or brailling device for use with the telephone with other auxiliary equipment; households with two or more people that are eligible may receive more than one telephone device if it is necessary; households with a person who is hard of hearing may receive a ring signaler and amplification device if it is necessary; households with a person who has a speech or hearing disability and a mobility disability may receive a speakerphone of similar device; and households with a person who has both a speech and mobility disability in addition to another hearing or speech disability may receive a speakerphone or similar device, or a TDD with auxiliary equipment.
