The Bureau received a request for reconsideration and an unfair election practice claim from the AFSCME, stating the majority verification process should not apply to established units and the Employer unfairly influenced the outcome of the election.


The Bureau found that no unfair election practice that affects the result of an election occurred. The Union’s request for reconsideration was sustained and a Notice of Mail Ballot Election Order was issued on October 10, 2023.
