    Issue: Veterans Preference Appeal
     
    Child Protection Social Worker issued a 5-day suspension for not meeting work expectations with regards to client visits and documentation of case activities. Did not attend laudermill hearing, nor grieve the suspension. He was ultimately terminated for Absence Without Leave after failing to return to work following the 5-day suspension.
     
    Appeal Denied ER had just cause for suspension and eventual termination of grievant.
