    Issue: Arbitrability and Split-Classroom Compensation      
     
    Grievance filed after teachers failed to receive extra compensation for absorbing additional students following a classroom split.District argued was untimely, and only required to pay if it results in loss of prep time.      
     
    Grievance Denied            While the grievance found to be procedurally arbitrable, the CBA does not clearly call for additional compensation when classrooms are split. Language specifies extra pay given when loss of prep time occurs.
