Union grievance filed after EEs performing similar duties to designated Lead workers did not also receive the additional $1/hr stipend. ER argued managerial and contractual right to assign Lead workers (and provide additional training) independent of job duties.
Grievance Denied CBA states "Employees who are designated by the employer as Leads shall receive $1.00/hour for such duties". ER selects who is serving as Lead workers and eligible for the stipend. Similar job duties do not entitle others to Lead pay.
