    Issue: Rates of Pay           
     
    Due to sub shortage, volunteer members of the K-12 ELA Curriculum Review Committee worked three days over summer, rather than past practice of being done during regular work day.  Email indicated pay at contracted daily rate of pay. District intended and had people fill out timesheet for $30 hourly curriculum rate. Union seeking daily rate of pay for each teacher.     
     
    Grievance Denied    Teachers not directed by superintendent to participate, nor was this an extension of regular duties. No practice of anything other than the $30/hr curriculum rate being paid for these tasks. Email did not create a Promissory Estoppel situation.
